Metalion is a 3-D shooting game for the Pocket PC that puts you in command of three unique fighters, called Metalions. At your command are the Vulcan 800, equipped with a turbo hyper-booster engine, high-speed missile launcher, and plasma laser cannon; the Gigant 200, able to carry special weapons like the TR-220 Smart Bomb; and the Gaia 100, equipped with silicon alloy armor, a full-range Spectrum Bomb, and more.
The Metalion storyline begins early in the 24th century, when overpopulation and lack of resources force the people of Earth to terraform, or transform uninhabitable planets into ones that can sustain human life. Over a period of 150 years, Mars, Venus, Saturn, and Jupiter are colonized by Earth. But when the atmosphere and environment of Jupiter begin to deteriorate, Jupiter's inhabitants rebel against the Earth colonies. Jupiter forms an army--the Red Galaxy Knights--and declares its independence. Earth leaders form the Universal Federation Corps. Jupiter attacks Earth, and millions of lives are lost. In response, Earth declares war on Jupiter.
Now, four grueling years later, a new weapon called the Metalion is born. Designed specifically for interplanetary travel and battle, this robotic weapon, piloted by a human, is Earth's only hope. That's where you come in. You're a Metalion pilot, and it's your mission to succeed! With intense colors, big sound, dynamic stages, and three levels, you earn points by eliminating the enemy. But beware--as the difficulty increases, the bullets fly faster and faster.

Experience a fast-action space-shooter on your Pocket PC. RocketElite is designed around fixed-point arithmetic, giving the game lightning speed, realistic physics, and smooth animation. The game engine provides accurate object physics, transparencies, particle effects, and a full-scrolling background. Each level has unique graphics and environmental effects to fight against and adapt to.
Compete head-to-head against another player using the power-ups, weapons, and ship upgrades available in the single-player game. There are five categories of ships with a total of six levels each, and plenty of ship upgrades and power-ups are available along the way. In addition to all the levels that come with the game, players can create or download additional single-level or multilevel, campaign-style add-ons for use with RocketElite.
