The creators of the original NFL Blitz arcade game have designed the new NFL Blitz 2002 to take advantage of the powerful GameCube platform. All of the 3-D player models, NFL stadiums, and over-the-top animations have been re-created, along with the team-specific plays and intense sound effects.The new impact player option allows the gamer to edit the route or assignment of any play in the team's playbook. There's an all-new running game AI, and more than 1,500 brand-new catches, sticks, and hits, including some animations that were motion-captured using professional stuntmen swinging from rigging wires.
